Antique Touring Company:
Curating Experiences of Detroit History.

This is Detroit as You've Never Seen It!!
Let Antique Touring Company share with you authentic experiences of beautiful, unforgettable Detroit. We have curated four historic tours of this legendary city and we deliver them in antique Detroit-made automobiles. No city on earth has had more impact on the modern world. Join us this this season in honoring the beauty of Belle Isle, the enormity of the automobile age, the heritage of old Corktown and the relaxation of an afternoon spent by the river.
Meet the Team
It doesn't matter what you have in life, but who you have that matters.
Curator of Big Ideas
Lisa Stolarski, Class of 2018

Belle Isle
MotorCities
Riverfront Loop
I'm Lisa. I founded Antique Touring Company because nearly everyone visiting Venice tours the city by gondola and while in San Francisco people flock to ride the cable cars. Also, judging by the lines, virtually no-one leaves Paris without climbing the Eiffel Tower.
The Motor City is a destination of unparalleled significance to human mobility and innovation. Antique Touring Company is a humble, and hopefully delightful, tribute to the historical significance of this city... which is to say, a tribute to the history of us ALL.
Lisa's Life's Motto:
"The impossible will take a little longer, but as a team we can do it in half the time ."
Handler of Sticky Situations
Brian Donovan, Class of 2018

Belle Isle
MotorCities
Brian co-founded Antique Touring Company because in his wedding vows he promised to support Lisa's big ideas (as long as they were good ones). In return Lisa promised to watch the match whenever Manchester United plays Chelsea. Brian regularly informs Lisa about the rules and objectives of sports, which has become increasingly important as of late. Brian has been a primary inspiration of Antique Touring Company, having convinced Lisa to go on vacation with him to Venice, Paris and San Francisco. In his spare time, Brian has a job.
Brian's Life's Motto:
"Someone has to drive the devil from the details."

Manager of the Sunny Days Department
Carrie Wells, Class of 2019

Belle Isle

Carrie took two tours with Antique Touring Company in 2019. She showed up in September of that year and declared, "Clearly I belong here." We enthusiastically agree. Among other responsibilities Carrie is in charge of supplying the team with garden tomatoes and bringing in home-made zucchini bread. Her dinner parties are legendary. She also makes kerchiefs for canines in her side business, which she calls Arsenal of Dogocracy. When she is not managing the sunshine, Carrie likes to tile bathrooms and pour concete, among other things.
Carrie's Life's Motto:
Life IS my art.

Jon Boyd, Class of 2021

Belle Isle
MotorCities
Corktown
Jon came to Antique Touring Company when the pandemic took the wind out of his orchestra. A connoisseur of diamonds hidden away amongst the neighborhoods of Detroit, Jon now curates his own unique tour of Corktown. Jon also possesses boundless interest in the history of American Automobiles. Since the pandemic lately has become merely somewhat dangerous, Jon has had opportunity to reconnect his lips with the Bassoon. Over the winter, spilling into spring and fall, Jon teaches music to school children.

First Chair of Fascinating Conversations
James Greer, Class of 2022

MotorCities

James has been living his best life since he moved to Detroit during the days of disco. Decades before the debut of the "rave," James leased two floors of a Boston Edison mansion for $150/month. Today, James is now interior curator of his magnificent Craftsman style home in Highland Park. When Lisa's Highland Park house grows up it wants to be just like Jame's house. If you notice the sound of exquisite viola or violin coming from behind the fourth green garage door, you are hearing the talent of James Greer practicing to entertain you at the Opera or the Symphony.
Jame's Life's Motto:
You have to live outside the box
to open it.
Captain of the Cool Ideas Broadcast Channel
Mark Domin, Class of 2022

Belle Isle
Riverfront Loop
Mark's passion for life is matched only by his passion for movies. Inspired by Doc Brown in "Back to the Future," Mark came to Antique Touring Company in 2022 hoping to drive a DeLorean. We offered to let him drive a Model A instead and he surprised us by taking the job. A professional movie watcher, Mark can follow the most convoluted plots, which helps him in learning the tours. Like everyone at the garage, Mark has multiple talents. If Antique Touring Company ever has a fantastic advertising idea, chances are it will come from Mark.
